Camping & Facilities

We have 15 spacious camping pitches and 4 Yurts spread out over our 30-acre site. All in a peaceful and stunning location. Each pitch has a firepit – logs, kindling, wood, charcoal and lamb – available on request (delivered to your pitch) for relaxing evenings around the campfire with friends or family. We also have on-site free for your use, hot and cold showers, 3 washing-up facility stations, and 7 composting WCs.

Site Facilities

Hillfort is a 30 Acre rural site with 15 spacious camping pitches and 5 walkers pitches, we have solar charging facilities for your devices and also mains charging if required for leisure batteries or any over device that requires a 240v, we also have a large fridge freezer on site for ice packs and certain foods.

Additional Facilities

• Shower block containing two hot showers and cold running water sinks.
• 6 Composting WCs, Plus 2 urinals. (checked and cleaned hourly) 
• 3 Washing up facility stations with hot and cold water.
• 2 Mains cold water supply taps, supplying clean Pembrokeshire drinkable charcoal filtered water.
• Fridge freezer.
• Solar mobile phone charging

Recycling

We take care of the environment! We don’t use pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers on the land – so there are plenty of weeds here and gorse that you can use to start up your fire. We recycle as much as possible and encourage campers to do the same. Recycling bins are available for glass, tin cans, plastic and paper

The Wildlife

We are very lucky to be situated right within Pembrokeshire Coastal Park, which is a great spot for bird lovers! You will have the opportunity to spot many unique birds such as Meadow Pipit, Yellowhammer, Sky Lark, Chough, Peregrine, Stone Chat, Wheatear, Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Linnet, Swallow, Goldfinch, Wren, Red Kite, Buzzard. Also nearby are Razorbill, Guillemots, Fulmar, Gannet. June is the best time to visit nearby Skomer Island as this is when the Puffins are feeding their young.

From Strumble Head, which is minutes from our site, you may see dolphins, orca, porpoise. Butterflies: Common blues, small heath, coppers, southern comma, skipper. Badgers and foxes!
