The site changes more between March and September than most places change in a decade. These are the markers:
March – April: First arrivals
Orange-tip butterflies emerge
Cuckoo flowers bloom in the margins
Choughs active on cliff turf
Sand martins back from Africa
Frogs spawn in the pond
